After much consideration, the brain trust at NMI (i.e. me and anyone stupid enough to listen to me) has fixed upon our next event: A protest at a day labor site in Ojai, California. This will be new territory for us and very convenient for a few NMI/SOS folks who find it difficult to travel with regularity from the Ventura area to the majority of our events in L.A. County.
This one will have it all: Confused illegals used to violating the law w/o any attention paid to them! Bleeding heart liberals who will curse us for not having compassion! People who moved to Ojai to get away from the crap in L.A. and feel as we do! And God knows what else!
Bring signs, flags, banners and all manner of contempt for politicians who refuse to enforce our nation's immigration regulations.
The protest will be from 9:30 to Noon (maybe 12:30 if it's going really well) on Saturday March the 29th. The address is 106 S. Montgomery St., Ojai, CA. Standing Alone tells me there is parking on Fox St., which is one block up from the informal DLS, on the left.
Hope to see many people there!

A place of peace and tranquilty is feeling the effects from the illegal invasion. I have personally witnessed gang graffitti scrawled over boulders and trees in our national forest. Stabbing's at a natural hot springs a few years ago, prompted the owners to fence it in. The Worst of course is the idea in the middle of a tourist town, where the main street runs the length of approximately three blocks.... on both sides of the street, stand, sit and lean illegal DL's.
The principal at Chapparal School next to the public parking lot and skateboard ramp, confided in me that the DL's purchase not only alcohol for her students but possibly drugs.

Hopefully she won't lose her job over it, but it is far too true at far too many schools in So.Cal, sure would be nice to get rid of all of them and bring the community back to what it was.

It truly is paradise here, I still haven't seen one illegal, maybe I should stay and enjoy life to its fullest, I will be far less frustrated and pissed off. Aloha NMI...

Just for the record, the original post by SZ had the wrong date on it. He posted the event date for April 29th, but the actual event date is March 29th. I edited out the original post and put the correct one.

Ojai is a tourist town, I am sure the local politicians will not want to see a disruption in their quiant scenic town.. it might not bode well with the Hollywood liberal types who come for the ambiance, the liberals are proud of the fact DL's are fully allowed to break our laws in plain sight!

Hey, does anyone remember that woman (white, middle-aged; maybe a friend of Chelene's) who showed up at the Simi Church when the Skinheads got booted? I seem to recall that she was from Ojai or somewhere near Ojai. If anyone knows her SOS board handle, I will extend a PM invitation to her.
